Barcelona reclaimed top spot in La Liga after taking advantage of Real Madrid's slip against Real Betis by beating Real Sociedad 4-0 on Sunday.
The 'Cules' cruised to a comfortable victory after the Basque side's centre-back Elustondo was shown an early red card. Gerard Martin opened the scoring and Marc Casado doubled the lead just minutes later.
The 21-year-old midfielder praised his team's performance and also explained what it felt like to score his first goal as a 'Cule'.
"Honestly, I didn't expect to score like that. Everything felt slow motion, the ball hit the post and went it. The only thing that came to my mind to celebrate was to kiss the badge. Nobody told me anything about celebrations because they didn't expect me to score," he said.
"We're doing very well. It's important to get to this part of the season in good shape. It helps us win matches. We knew it was going to be a tough match today. I think we played a very serious game, organized. After 15 minutes the red card created a lot of space for us to create chances," he concluded
