Palmeiras president Leila Pereira spoke to 'The Athletic' about a possible return of Endrick to Brazil after hardly counting for Carlo Ancelotti. The executive denied that there are options for this to happen and said that the adaptation process is natural: “He will be very, very happy at Real Madrid, I have no doubts”.

Endrick's first few months at Real Madrid have not been easy. It's not that he hasn't landed on his feet, but he's been slower than perhaps he'd like. So far he has only played 285 minutes in 20 games and has only started twice, although in that short time he has scored two goals with some very high quality performances.
Palmeiras, the club where he grew up, is following the striker's career from afar, hoping for his success. The president of the Brazilian club, Leila Pereira, spoke in an interview for 'The Athletic' about the now Real Madrid gem and gave relative importance to those few minutes. For her, it is all part of a process and denies that he could return to the 'Verdao'.
“No, that was never discussed. There is no possibility. For something like that to happen it has to be good for Palmeiras, for the player and for Real Madrid”, said Pereira, who believes that what is happening is normal: "There was never talk of that return because that period of adaptation to the new club and to Europe was foreseeable".
“Endrick is going to be very, very happy at Real Madrid, I have no doubt. He is very young, a young talent, but it is difficult for a kid to leave Brazil and adapt immediately. He will be patient because he is very determined, he is very focused. He will shine at Real Madrid”, added the Palmeiras president.
In addition, the executive related a curious anecdote with Florentino Perez when they were negotiating the signing of the young striker. “He told me that it was a pleasure to negotiate with me and he also told me: 'Leila, I have been told that Endrick is better than Pelé'. I replied: 'Relax, president. No one like Pelé has ever been born.
