Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has finalised his squad for the Europa League knockout stages, with several intriguing inclusions and omissions.
Patrick Chinazaekpere Dorgu, the club's recent wing-back acquisition, is set to make his European debut for the Red Devils against Real Sociedad on Thursday.
Despite receiving a red card in United's 3-2 victory over Ipswich Town, Dorgu's suspension only applies to domestic fixtures, leaving him available for continental competition.
Another winter signing, Ayden Heaven, has also been included in the squad following his senior debut as a substitute in Sunday's FA Cup defeat to Fulham.
However, teenage sensation Chido Obi, who has impressed in recent appearances, is ineligible for the competition because UEFA regulations prevent his inclusion on the B list.
The 17-year-old striker's absence could be felt heavily in United's attack, with first-choice striker Rasmus Hojlund struggling to find the net.
The availability of several other young players, such as Louis Jackson, Habeeb Ogunneye, Jack Fletcher, Jayce Fitzgerald, and Harry Amass, has strengthened Amorim's options.
