The body of a 42-year-old man was found in the early hours of Monday morning at the Diego Armando Maradona stadium following the 2-2 draw between Napoli and Milan on Sunday evening, Neapolitan media reported.
The man, from Bacoli, a municipality in the south of Naples, was found in an abandoned car park at the stadium, just below the away fans' section.
According to the police's initial reconstruction, he fell from a distance of 20 metres as he tried to sneak into the stadium without a ticket.
A friend of the victim provided the Italian police with the information and confessed that he had tried to sneak in without a ticket with the deceased, before finally giving up, unlike his friend.
