Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca told a press conference after the Blues' defeat to Ipswich that his side are far from competing with England's best and lack “consistency”.

Enzo Maresca has managed to turn around Chelsea's poor run of form prior to his arrival and has managed to get the Blues back into the top half of the table and even back into the Premier League title race.
However, the Londoners appear to have almost completely dropped out of the title race led by Liverpool after failing to win in their last three domestic games, including back-to-back defeats.
Ipswich, who had yet to record a home win in the Premier League this season, beat the Blues on Monday and Enzo Maresca said after the game that his side still lacked the "consistency" to stand up to the best teams in England.
"We expected this kind of moment during the season because we know that this kind of moment belongs to the football. It is almost impossible to have a season where you do not have a moment like now for us," he said.
"But in the same time, not one of us in this room expected us to be where we are now. This means and shows that we are in the right direction, as I’ve said many times, but also shows that we are far from competing and consistency and to be there with the best teams in England," he concluded.
