Brazilian midfielder Casemiro has returned to training with Manchester United ahead of their Uefa Champions League clash with Kobenhavn. The player suffered a knock in Brazil's 1-1 draw against Venezuela and Diniz replaced him in the 79th minute, the Brazilian missed the Red Devils' Premier League game against Sheffield United.
The former Real Madrid player has recovered from his ankle injury and has been seen taking part in various exercises at the team's training session at Carrington, as well as taking part in general training with Ten Hag and his technical staff.
Despite being back, it looks like the player will have to wait to return to the starting line-up for the Red Devils as McTominay, who has been his replacement in his absence, is in excellent goalscoring form and will be hoping to keep his place in Erik Ten Hag's side.
The Manchester United manager has more good news as Tyrel Malacia has also returned to training after a lengthy absence following a knee injury operation and has been unable to play in any games for the Old Trafford outfit. The United boss hopes to welcome him back and have him fighting for a place alongside Luke Shaw and Reguilon.
