Injuries are taking their toll on the Spanish national team. In addition to Rodri and Gavi, among others, Dani Carvajal and Ferran Torres were injured this weekend.
To replace the latter, Luis de la Fuente called up both Bryan Gil and Bryan Zaragoza. However, the former will not attend the La Roja training camp on Monday.
The Girona player has been carrying a physical discomfort that will prevent him from playing against Denmark and Serbia, the two matches that the Spanish national team has in this national team break.
"Bryan Gil has been ruled out due to physical discomfort and will not start the training camp with the Spanish national team following talks between the medical services of his club and those of the Spanish national team," the Spanish federation said in a statement.
