Jose Mourinho has been without a club since the end of his time at Roma, but it has not taken long for possible destinations for the Portuguese coach to emerge. The surprising thing is that these projects are not coming from Europe's top leagues, where the Portuguese surely has contenders, but they are emerging in Turkey. Fenerbahce's interest has now been joined by Besiktas.

The Turkish League is investing in the signing of players from Europe's top competitions, although it is true that, rather, they are signing players who have already dropped their level. The same seems to be true for the bench. Several clubs have knocked on Jose Mourinho's door.
Fenerbahce were the first to meet with the Portuguese coach and make it clear that they wanted him. After the 'Yellow Canaries', it was Besiktas who held a meeting with the Portuguese. As confirmed by their vice-president, Huseyin Yucel, in the media 'TGRT Haber': "I met with Mourinho a month ago in Istanbul".
Moreover, Huseyin Yucel said that the former Real Madrid man was looking forward to joining Besiktas. As for his financial demands: "We meet Mourinho's salary expectations. We are working specifically on sponsorship to be able to meet those figures".
"A salary of 15 million is fake news! It will be a salary of 10 million!" he continued on the financial side of the deal.
Finally, he assured that the parties must make an assessment before deciding: "He stated that he would value the offer and we will analyse it with the board of directors". Coach and club will have a further talks in the coming weeks.
