Cristhian Britos, Deportiva Minera player, was “happy” after learning of their Copa del Rey last 32 tie against Real Madrid and said that, despite the difference in level with the 'Merengues', they will “give everything” to try to stun them.
“You can't explain the feeling. We were longing for a big team to play us and we got Madrid. It gives us a lot of happiness and joy. It is something that the people deserve and we are going to give everything, as always,” he said in live statements after hearing the news.
“We tried to leave everything on Saturday against Alaves. We were able to do it. Obviously they (Madrid) are a big team, the best in the world, but we'll give our all again,” he added.
Deportiva Minera, who are 5th in Group IV of the Spanish fourth tier, eliminated Tudelano (0-5) and Alaves on penalties in the previous two rounds.
