Barcelona squad list for Villarreal clash
Barcelona announced their squad for the visit to Villarreal. The list is full of absentees, as Hansi Flick has seven players on the sidelines and Ferran Torres is suspended after his sending off in the last game. The ‘Cules’ hope, in any case, to recover after the setback against Monaco in the Champions League.

Hansi Flick wants his team to remain unbeaten in La Liga and, to do so, he will have to manage a squad with numerous absentees. Ahead of the match against Villarreal, eight players have remained in Barcelona.
In the ‘Cules’ infirmary right now are Gavi, Christensen, Araujo, Marc Bernal, De Jong, Fermin Lopez and Dani Olmo. None of them, therefore, are in the squad list for their clash at La Ceramica.
Ferran Torres is not in the list either. The player was sent off in the derby against Girona after a hard tackle on Asprilla and, for that reason, will not be able to play this matchday either.
Against this backdrop, Flick has had no choice but to take several players from the reserve team such as Gerard Martin, Sergi Dominguez, Cuenca, Guillermo and Toni Fernandez.
Goalkeepers: Ter Stegen, Inaki Pena and Astralaga.
Defenders: Cubarsi, Balde, Inigfo Martinez, Kounde, Eric Garcia, Hector Fort, Gerard Martin, Sergi Dominguez, Andres Cuenca.
Midfielders: Pedri, Pablo Torre, Marc Casado and Guillermo.
Forwards: Lewandowski, Ansu Fati, Raphinha, Pau Víctor, Lamine Yamal, and Toni Fernandez.
