Barcelona squad have "always believed" in Xavi Hernandez, claims Fermin

Andalusian Fermin Lopez, scorer of the goal that opened Barcelona's 3-1 win over Napoli, admitted that scoring a goal in the Champions League and in the last 16 is an "indescribable" feeling.
"I'm very happy with the start, but, above all, for the team's victory," said Fermin, who commented that, despite everything, the team was under no pressure: "We knew it was an important game for the club, but I think we had personality, we played our game and we are very happy with the result."
After scoring the opener, Fermin went straight to Xavi Hernandez to hug him. Asked if he would like the coach to rethink his future, the Andalusian recalled that these are "personal decisions". "I will always be grateful to him because he has put his trust in me and I wanted to give him the goal. I'm very happy," insisted Fermin, who commented that the coach told his players to play their game.
The Spanish midfielder added that the team is not thinking about the next opponent, but "about the victory in a very important match for the team and the club". "After scoring the goal, the feeling is indescribable because this is the club I dreamed of playing for when I was a kid. I am very happy for the team," he summed up.
