Real Madrid received congratulations from a large part of the football world after winning their 15th Champions League title. Among the various congratulations, the one from their eternal rivals Barcelona stood out. The Catalan side's post on social media generated numerous comments.

Madrid fans were equal parts grateful and derisive for the gesture, while supporters of the Catalan team were mostly indignant, not approving of their club congratulating their sporting foes.
