Betis striker Vitor Roque said Barcelona are "the best team in the world right now" after beating the Andalusian side 5-1 at the Estadio Lluís Companys to qualify for the quarter-finals of the Copa del Rey.
"It was a very difficult game for us. We tried to press up front and close down the middle as we had trained, but we didn't have a good day. Barcelona played a great game and deserved to win," he admitted to the Movistar+ microphones.
The former Athletico Paranaense player, who is on loan at Betis from Barcelona, managed to score the Andalusian team's consolation goal from the penalty spot in the last minutes of the match. The young Brazilian did not celebrate the goal out of respect for his parent club but said he was thrilled.
