Pedri is looking to the future with optimism but does not want to set a fixed date for his return. Injured on 3 March, the Tenerife native wants to take it step by step so as not to relapse into his physical problems. At least, that's what he implied in 'The Residency'.
"There is no concrete date, but so far everything is going very well in the recovery. I hope to be back very soon. Mentally I'm doing very well, to be honest. The recovery is going very well and I'm just thinking about coming back and enjoying myself," said the Barcelona midfielder.
Physical problems have slowed down Pedri's career. Since that year 2021 in which he played for Barcelona and Spain, the Tenerife native has not been able to have continuity due to various injuries that he now wants to put behind him.
However, his performance was not the only thing Pedri talked about, as he was also questioned about the Champions League, a competition in which he faces Paris Saint-Germain in the quarter-finals.
"I would like the final to be Barca-Manchester City, although Barca-Real Madrid would also be good. Winning the Champions League? We are Barca, it's very complicated but of course we can", he said.
