Barcelona midfielder Pedri had to be substituted just before half-time in the match against Manchester United in the Europa League. Sergi Roberto took his place.
The Catalan club said in a statement that the injury could keep the midfielder out of action for three weeks: "Barcelona's Pedri has injured his right thigh (hamstring). Medical tests will be required to determine the full extent of the damage," they wrote.
The Spanish footballer will not be available for the La Liga match against Cadiz and the Europa League second leg at Old Trafford.
Pedri could miss five games if it is confirmed that he will be out of action for three weeks: against United, Real Madrid, Cadiz, Almeria and Valencia.
