Barcelona issued a statement in which they informed that they had asked BSM (Barcelona Serveis Municipals) for their request to continue playing at the Lluis Companys, at least until 20th May. This means that 'El Clásico’ of the second half of the season, scheduled for the same month, is likely to be played on Montjuic again, as in previous seasons.

One of the dates marked in red in the Spanish football scheule is 'El Clasico’ of the second half of the season between Barcelona and Real Madrid. A few days ago, it was rumoured that this match might change its location from the Lluis Companys stadium, as was originally planned.
In fact, media such as ‘Què T'hi Jugues’ advanced that this match could be played in a big European stadium, but outside of Spain. Something that was not well received, although this does not point to it happening.
Barcelona themselves have issued a statement on Thursday in which they have informed of their request to extend their stay in Montjuic, at least until 20th May. This means that 'El Clasico’, scheduled for the weekend of 10-11 May, will end up being played at the Lluis Companys.
Despite this, the club remains positive that the return to the Camp Nou will take place before the end of the current season with a game being played there.
"FC Barcelona is set to request an extension from BSM regarding the use of the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys up to 20 May, in spite of the institution continuing to target playing games at the Spotify Camp Nou this season.
The Club understands that the prior booking for the facility from May onwards for a musical event with BSM is very unlikely to go ahead.
As such, in absence of the confirmation of an event booked for the Anella Olímpica, the possibility opens up for FC Barcelona to play up to the final LaLiga match this season at the Estadi Olímpic. The Club wishes to reiterate that its main priority is to play games towards the end of this season at the Spotify Camp Nou, and further efforts will be made to achieve that aim."
