Jordi Alba lost his spot in Barcleona's starting eleven because of Alejandro Balde's god form. Despite not playing as big a part as he would have liked, it is thought he may want to stay at the side next season.
For that to happen, the Barca board have given him different financial options so that he can. The main idea from the board is to do everything possible to save as much as they can in contracts ahead of next season, due to the fact they can't afford his current wages, according to 'Sport'.
Joan Laporta and co., as well, are thought to have therefore made things easier for the player to leave, and have even offered to pay him a compensation to leave which he won't get in whatever new club.
One of the leagues he's got the most options to go to would be Serie A. Juventus and Inter are the two clubs which are most wanting to sign the left back in the summer.
With the title now under their belt, Barca would like to round off the situation as quickly as possible in order to have the most tools available to them for the market.
