Barcelona announced on Wednesday the list of called-up players for the Copa del Rey round of 16 match against Real Betis to be played at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys at 21:00 CET.
One of the new additions to the list is the absence of Ansu Fati for the third time from Flick's squad. This would mean that the German coach does not count on the winger and with the January transfer window open he could be one of those who leave the team in search of playing time.
With Inigo Martinez injured in the 2-5 win over Real Madrid in the Spanish Super Cup final, Ronald Araujo will be ready to take his place in the starting XI despite being linked with a move to Juventus.
Inaki Pena will replace Szczesny who is serving a one-match suspension after his sending off against Los Blancos. For Betis, Lo Celso, Bellerin and Chimy Avila will miss the game through injury, while Mac Roca and Pablo Fornals look set to play against Los Cules.
- Goalkeepers: Inaki Pena, Ander Astralaga, Kochen.
- Defenders: Pau Cubarsi, Alex Balde, Jules Kounde, Hector Fort, Gerard Martin, Eric Garcia, Ronald Araujo.
- Midfielders: Pedri, Fermin, Pablo Torre, Marc Casado, Frenkie de Jong, Dani Olmo, Gavi.
- Forwards: Ferran Torres, Robert Lewandowski, Raphinha, Pau Victor, Lamine Yamal.
