Another setback for Valencia: Mamardashvili gets injured

Giorgi Mamardashvili is suffering from an injury to the rectus femoris in his right leg, Valencia confirmed on Tuesday. The goalkeeper picked up the injury in last weekend's game against Rayo Vallecano and after undergoing tests the club have confirmed the injury.
Valencia have not given an estimated timeframe for his return to action and explained that the club's medical services have decided that the player will undergo medical and physiotherapy treatment at the training complex in Paterna.
The Georgian's absence could mean that Stole Dimitrievski, who arrived at the club last summer and has already played two games in the Copa del Rey, could make his La Liga debut for Valencia on Friday.
