Amorim gives green light to Man Utd - Move depends on club to club negotation

Manchester United are on the verge of securing a new manager. The English club confirmed the sacking of Erik ten Hag on Monday and it was Ruud Van Nistelrooy who was announced as his replacement, at least on an interim basis.
However, the Dutchman will be short-lived in his new role as Sporting CP coach Ruben Amorim is expected to take the reins at Old Trafford.
Reports emerged on Monday that the Red Devils had made contact with the Portuguese coach and on Tuesday morning Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Amorim has given the green light for the move.
However, it now all depends on whether Manchester United can reach an agreement in negotiations with Sporting CP. The Portuguese coach's exit clause is around 10 million euros.
