With the first third of the season about to be completed, there are already several reports of injuries to a number of players so far this season. Some of them are serious, as is the case with Carvajal or Militao, while others such as Lamine Yamal or Lewandowski only seem to have a few niggles.
Something similar happens with Alexander-Arnold, who was forced off against Aston Villa due to hamstring problems. An ailment that has caused him to be left out of the England squad for the Nations League games and he is a serious doubt for the all-important Champions League game against Real Madrid at Anfield.
According to 'The Times', the defender could be out of action for around two weeks. A total of 14 days, with exactly 17 days to go before the big European game against 'Los Blancos'.
A fair recovery time for Alexander-Arnold, who would arrive ‘in extremis’ and without competing since 9 November. In addition, he would face the theoretical team that, according to various sources, is interested in acquiring his services from next summer, when the Englishman ends his contract with Liverpool.
